Ernestine B. Walton

Born June 24, 1922 in Strong, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Artie Black Ballard. She was employed at M. M. Cohn’s before her retirement. She had been a member of Second Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Louie Edward Walton, Sr., an infant son and four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include sons, Louie Walton, Jr. (Wendy) of El Dorado and Dennis W. Walton (Sue) of Haughton, LA and a former daughter-in-law, Judi Russell of Florida. Surviving grandchildren are Jeremy Walton, Brian Walton, Bruce Walton and Mark Walton, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Arlington Memorial Park with interment to follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M at Young’s.
