Eugene Mc Neely

He was born October 20, 1923, in Texarkana, Arkansas, the son of Bird Ray McNeely and Emma McNeely Murphrey. He was a self employed oilfield mechanic and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smackover.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife of 62 years, Faye Gunnels McNeely; and two sisters, Bertha Burchfield and Catherine McNeely.

Survivors include one son, Randy McNeely and his wife, Suzy of Smackover, Arkansas; one daughter, Margaret McNeely Stiller and her husband, William of Papillion, Nebraska; one brother, Bo McNeely and his wife, Celia, and one sister, Margaret McNeely, both of El Dorado, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chad McNeely and his wife, Mary of Smackover, Arkansas; Lori McNeely Davis and her husband, Joey of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Sha Mauch and her husband, David of Papillion, Nebraska; Neely Taylor and her husband, Craig of Papillion, Nebraska; and good friends Lankford and Lorene Cheatham of Smackover, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Smackover Cemetery with

Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Smackover, 500 West Seventh St., Smackover, Arkansas, 71762.
