Juanita Luttrell, 87 of El Dorado, Arkansas, finished a wonderful life on earth and started a glorious eternity in Heaven Friday, May 06, 2011, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born March 15, 1924, to John Sherrill Beebe and Vada Currie Beebe in Washington, Louisiana. Juanita was a homemaker and a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of that church for many years, where she taught in the children's department and was known as "Miss Juanita", by the many children whose lives she touched.
Juanita graduated from El Dorado High School in 1943 and attended college in Biloxi, Mississippi before graduating from State Teachers College (UCA) with a degree in music in 1946. She taught music at Southside school until she met and married the love of her life, Wallace Edward Luttrell. Juanita and Wallace were married on June 7, 1947 and were married for 60 wonderful years. Juanita and Wallace started their family in 1954 and from that time forward, she devoted herself to being the best Mom possible; always caring for her children with unwavering love. Known as Mimi to her 10 grandchildren, she showered them with the same love and care. Mimi and Gran's house was always open, full of love and a place where many memories were made.
Juanita was blessed to have a wonderful caretaker, Joyce Miller for many years. Our family cannot thank Joyce enough for her love and devotion she gave our parents.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and husband, Wallace Edward Luttrell.
Survivors include her three children, Dr. Rex Edward Luttrell and wife Marge Anna of Little Rock, Rita Mignon Murphy and husband Tim of El Dorado, and Rel Beebe Luttrell and wife Sondra of Little Rock, AR; one brother, John S.
