Faye E. Williams Wood

She was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church and church treasurer for 40 years. Faye was a school teacher and homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Wood; five brothers, Johnson Otis Williams, Horace Mason “Jack” Williams, Joseph Fred Williams, Richard Elkins “Buck” Williams, William Floyd “Bill” Williams; and two sisters, Hilda Cabiness, and Eva Blackmon.

Survivors include her four children, David Lloyd Wood (Kathy) of El Dorado, Susan Muse-French (Ty) of Lowell, AR, William Daniel “Danny” Wood (Gwen) of El Dorado, Kenneth Mason “Ken” Wood (Mary Katherine) of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; and her two special caregivers, Eloise Kiner, and Betty Mims.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, at Mt. Union Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Sheets, Bro. Leroy Jones, Bro. John Ayres, and Bro. Kenny Waites officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
