

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cora Harrison and two siblings, Marvin Harrison and Margarete Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James V. “Buddy” Wooten, Sr.
After 26 years of service, Frances retired as administrative assistant from El Dorado Foundry Machine and Supply Company. After retirement, she worked at El Dorado First Assembly of God Church as a receptionist. She was an active member of First Assembly of God where she served in several capacities over her 70 years of attendance. She was often referred to as Ma Wooten or Nanny by the members of her church and family. She was a servant and outstanding caregiver to her family and church beyond what can be put into words.
She is survived by two children, Kathy Wooten Jackson (Thomas) of Stevensville, Maryland and James V. “Jimmy” Wooten, Jr. (Karen) of Brookville, Ohio and three grandchildren, Blake Noble of Madison, Wisconsin, Michael Noble (Heather Kay) of Chicago, Illinois and Mallory Kornegay (Michael) of Magnolia, Arkansas. She is also survived by a sister, Udell Berry (John) of El Dorado, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
A celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made on behalf of Frances to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Cancer Society, or El Dorado First Assembly of God Church.
