

Frankie Harold Risinger, age 85, of Strong, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at South Arkansas Regional Hospital. He was born on February 28, 1938 to John Fred and Neita Hollis Risinger in Strong, AR.
He was a graduate of Strong High School, where he was was an outstanding athlete, playing quarterback for 4 years, basketball, and baseball. He continued playing baseball with the Tri County League and his main sport, basketball until he was 52 years old. He was a builder, co-owner of Risinger Real Estate and a member of Green Grove Chapel. He had a beautiful singing voice and could sing any part but preferred bass. He and Virginia sang in a quartet, "The Victorians", for many years and were privileged to record at The Oak Ridge Boys studio in Nashville. Later they sang with trio" From the Heart". He enjoyed playing the mandolin, gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and especially loved being with his family.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Donald Risinger, Fred "Son" Risinger; and sisters, Elaine Plair, Maxine Pagan, and Ollie Welch.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia Fore Risinger of Strong; daughters, Renita Thomas (Michael) of Marion, LA, Sandy Agerton (Jerry) of Strong; sisters, Melba Tanner, Linda McGoogan (Paul); brother, Bobby Risinger (Linda); grandchildren, Summer Roberts (Chris), Storey Bradford (Coty), Lauren Hodge (Justin), Jay Agerton (Rachel), Hannah Bailiff (Shay); great grandchildren, Ethan, Kenadee (Brad), Ada, Hunter, Hank, Everly, JaMo, Emersyn, Jett, Reed, Annie, Elle, Noah; and great, great grandchildren, Klaira and her expected brother; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Green Grove Chapel, 2088 Philadelphia Road, El Dorado, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Green Grove Chapel with Rev. Mike Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Memorial can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
