He worked for Agerton Construction and Arkla Tex, as an oilfield maintenance worker.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Lavoie.
Survivors include his wife of thirteen years, Kasey Lavoie of Louann; mother, Christine Hopper of Marked Tree, AR; three children, Brady and Syx Lavoie of Louann, and Alex Smith of Mississippi; brother, David Lee Hopper, of Marked Tree, AR; niece, Payton Roberson; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Maple Avenue Baptist Church under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Lawrence Harrison officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with the cost of funeral expenses.
