We are so sorry for your loss. My thoughts of Gene go back to when I was in Jr. High and throwing the Shreveport Times paper. We would meet the paper truck at what is now The Griffin Restaurant. May God take of you during this time of grief.

So sorry for the passing of your loved one. Gene was a special individual and was part of my life as I grew up. Gene always encouraged me and his brother Bobby Lynn to keep going, never give up and stand strong.
All our love to the family.
