Gerald Lynn

Born June 23, 1949 in El Dorado, AR. Gerry was a true hunter at heart, finding joy in the outdoors and passing down a deep respect for nature to those around him. An avid storyteller, he had a gift for bringing people together with tales that were equal parts wisdom, humor, and adventure. His infectious laugh could brighten any room and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of hearing it.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn; son, Joshua Lynn (Molly); daughters, Jessica Dunlap (Chad), Jaime Finch (Don); seven grandchildren, Bentley Lynn, Chloe Lynn, Logan Leija (Amber), Collan Leija, Avery Leija, Tyler Finch and Grayson Finch; two great grandchildren, and niece, Shelley Seitz (Mike).

His preceded in death by Thomas "Toppy" Lynn, Claudia "Betty" Lynn, and Lyndae Allison.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Young's Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rhodes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory, share stories and celebrate the remarkable life he lived.

Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in every hunting story retold, every shared laugh among loved ones and friends, and every cherished memory created in his presence. His life was a blessing, his memories a treasure, and he will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
