Geraldine Inez Babb

A lifelong resident of El Dorado, AR she was born on October 12, 1927; she was the daughter of Sam E. Babb and Inez Mazie Harris Babb. Geraldine was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and also attended First Baptist Church, where she was involved with many Sunday school classes through the years. Ms. Babb was a graduate of El Dorado High School, and was a member of the El Dorado Garden Club for many years. Ms. Babb was a homemaker and an avid gardener, who loved to bake cookies and cakes, and show friends and family her azalea bushes. She was very close to and proud of her parents. Her mother was the organist for many years at her local church, and her father served as President of National Bank of Commerce, now Simmons Bank of El Dorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George E. Babb.

Survivors are a niece Kathleen Noack of Rigby, Idaho along with several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10 am, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Brian Trostle officiating.

The family wishes to thank South Arkansas Personnel Services and Lifetouch Hospice for the loving care they provided Geraldine.
