Geraldine "Gerry" Hendricks Robinson

Geraldine “Gerry” Hendricks Robinson, 93, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born December 8, 1923 to Jesse Austin and Hazel Lewis Hendricks in El Dorado, AR.

She was a life-long active member of the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado; she worked as a cashier and auditor for Exchange Bank and was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed playing Bingo, caring for her family and she was a great hostess.

Preceding her in death are her parents; son, Rick Lewis Robinson; and her husband and high school sweetheart of 65 years, Claud Gilbert Robinson, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Scott Robinson (Vicki) of Madison, AL; grandson, Andrew Robinson of Madison, AL; granddaughter, Megan Robinson Faulkner (Thom) of Ruston, LA; and great grandson, Kipp Lowry Faulkner.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Timberland Health and Rehab for their care for Mrs. Robinson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Pat Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
