Gertie Elizabeth Haley

Gertie was born December 31, 1921 in England, AR to William Dillard Herron and Rosie Charlotte Palmer Herron. Mrs. Haley was a member of Faith Assembly of God. She was also a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Charles Emily Haley; son, William Emery Haley; four brothers, Clarence Herron, Charlie Herron, W. D. Herron, and Eugene Herron; sisters Marie Lynn and Eulene Breedlove, and grandson-in-law, Ken Ball.

Survivors include daughter, Beth Cook (Bill) of El Dorado; son, Charles Allen Haley (Frances) of Kilgore, TX; three grandchildren, Missie Cook of El Dorado, Michele ( Steve ) Jackson of El Dorado, and Cheryl (Raymond) Mosby of Kilgore, TX; six great-grandchildren, Rachel Ball, Rebekah Ball, Matt (Ashley) Nash, Michaele (Dustin) Howe, Ashlea Mosby, and Charlie Mosby; and great-great- grandchildren, Jaidyn Nash and Hailynn Howe.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Dr. Donny Hargett officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Victory Bible Camp c/o Marrable Hill Chapel, 110 Chapel Dr, El Dorado, AR 71730.
