Born December 4, 1921, she was the daughter of Benjamin Newton and Louella Peace Powell of Junction City, AR. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and retired from M.M. Cohn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers, 4 sisters, husband of 58 years Billy and son Jerry.
She is survived by her son, Mike Davis (Shirley) of Bryant, AR; daughter Sandra Kaplan (David) of Chattanooga, TN; three granddaughters, Kristen Levine (Paul) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Stephanie Rotunda (Kennie) of Parker, CO, and Ashley Pilkington (George) of Benton, AR; great-grandsons, Kaden, Jett, and Cruz Rotunda, Garrett and Jack Pilkington, and great-granddaughter, Hailey Pilkington.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Harrison officiating, interment to follow at Wesson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm prior to the service.
