She enjoyed sewing, crafts and was a retired restaurant chef. Helen was a member of the El Dorado Church of the Nazarene.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, James Gifford; one sister; and one brother.
Survivors include her two daughters, Dian Kirkland of El Dorado; Marsha Gillis of Adrian, MO; two sons, Ray Gifford and Jim Gifford both of Sacremento, CA; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
