Holly Berry Attaway

Holly B. Attaway, 70, of Smackover, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1954 to John Edgar and Carline Williams Berry in El Dorado, AR.

She worked at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse and was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Smackover, being baptized in 1964 and rededicated in 2017.

In addition to the Lord and her family, Holly loved all things of nature which are God's creation. She loved reading, music, adventures with Charles, her country, and her hometown of Smackover. She loved having guests in her home and the memories of loved ones who are now in Heaven.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her brother Eddie Berry, and stepchildren Tiffany Srebrenik and Todd Attaway.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles Thomas Attaway. She is also survived and loved by her sons, Berry Jon White and Allison Rigsby, Derry Ray White and daughter in law Brittany White. Her beloved grandchildren are Aaron White, John White, Maddie White, Abby White, Jacob Gardner, Matthew Srebrenik, Noah Srebrenik, and David Srebrenik, and great-grandson Charlie White. She is also survived and loved by her brother, Jeff Berry and sisters in law Cindy Berry and Suzy Berry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Smackover with Bro. Carley Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers are Glenn Thomas, Cody Cozart, Mickey Valentine, Richard Ray, Mike Rowan, Adam Belt, Chad McNeely, and Zac Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Langley, Randy McNeely, Earl Ontis, and Ronnie Martin.
