Huie Shee Wong

Huie Shee Wong, 104, of El Dorado, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born February 7, 1907, in Canton, China. Shee was a homemaker and a member of the Dallas Chinese Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Man Wong; her parents; two sons, Joe Wong, Jim Wong; and grandson-in-law, Gene Yee.

Survivors include two daughter-in-laws, Fay Jean Wong and Lin Wong; nephew, Gordon (Kitty) Louie of Campbell River, Canada; grandchildren, Henry (Alice) Wong of Ruston, LA, Jo An Yee of Dallas, TX, William (Kit Ying) Wong of El Dorado, Kenneth (Cindy) Wong of Palmdale, CA, Mary Ann (Richard) McMurry of El Dorado, Emma (Bryan) Chew of Dallas, TX, Eugene (Yinlai) Wong of Brooklyn, NY, Mable Wong of Dallas, TX, Chuck (Christina) Wong of Hawaii, and Susan Wong of El Dorado; great-grandchildren, Cyndi (Ed) Gabrillo of Dallas, TX, Mike (Cathy) Yee of Dallas, TX, Suzi (Joe) Browning of Columbus, OH, Robert Wong, of Dallas, TX, George Wong of North Little Rock, AR, Jon (Sara) Yee of Dallas, TX, Allen Wong of San Diego, CA , Julie Wong of El Dorado, Cathey Wong of San Diego, CA, Christopher Chew of Dallas Texas , Kayla Wong of Palmdale, CA, Catherien Chew of Dallas Texas, Albert Wong of Brooklyn, NY,Jonathan Chew of Dallas Texas, Johnny Wong of Brooklyn, NY; Cayley Wong of Hawaii , and Cody Wong of Hawaii, great-great grandchildren, Caitlin, Matthew and Jessica Gabrillo of Dallas, TX, Olivia and Weston Yee of Dallas, TX, and Jazmin Wong of El Dorado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Garland Willis and Ben Early officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
