J. T. Voss

J.T. retired, after 33 1/2 years, as a supervisor from Cooper Industrial Products and later worked as a funeral director assistant for many funeral homes in the El Dorado area. He was a charter member of Hillsboro Street Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Patsy Smith; brother, George David “Sonny” Voss and brother-in-law, Eddie Peppers.

He is survived by his wife of 62 1/2 years, Sarah Voss; sons, David Voss (Lisa) and Michael Voss (Velda); grandchildren, Landon of El Dorado and Olivia of Conway; step granddaughter, Charlotte Sealy of Fredericksburg, Virginia and her daughter, Torri and her son, Devin Setliff.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Hillsboro St. Church of Christ after a 10:00 A.M. visitation with Rev. James Nixon and Rev. David Voss officiating services. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Honoring his memory by serving as pallbearers are Eddie Sexton, Richard Owen, Dave Heid, Landon Voss, Randy Bagley, Michael Voss. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Harter, Kenny Merritt, John Ed Moore, Jimmy Moore and Robbie Williams.
