I was just thinking back when I was just a kid James was living here he spent a lot of time trying to teach me how to whistle with my fingers I finally figured out how to do it when someone asked me how to do that I tell them just as James told me

I remember every Sunday night during youth choir practice how he would sit and play with the little grand babies that came to church on that night. He was always loving and patient even if they needed him to play baby dolls. ☺️

James was a very kind, hard working family man who had his heart right with God. Heaven is now his home, but He will surely be missed.

I have known James since we both were teenagers, and that’s been many years. He has always been a great and humble family man.
I too, am thankful God put you two together, and blessed y’all for all the years he did.
As the years went on , I never saw y’all as much as I would like to have , but we can all take comfort in being together with our Heavenly Father one day.
Cindy, just know my thoughts and prayers are with you and all the children in the days and weeks ahead. May God bless and be with all of you , and give you the comfort and peace through this , that only he can do.
Love ,
Susie Potts

James and I spent a lot of Saturday’s hunting deer in our younger days. On Sunday afternoon we would all get together and play basketball, football or softball. Good times and memories that I will always cherish.
