Born August 17, 1936 in Haile, LA he was the son of Jasper, Sr. and Jessie Snell. Mr. Snell was a retired millwright with Olin Kraft.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were a son, Travis Norris, Jr. one brother and a grandson, Jesse Maroney.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Nelson Snell of Huttig, two daughters, Heather Norris of Strong, and Karen Kingrey (Gene) of Huttig along with three sons, Tommy Norris of Huttig, James Snell, Jr (Teresa) of Spencer, LA and Robert Snell of South Carolina. Also surviving is one brother, Jasper Snell, Jr. (Betty) of Haile, LA and 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Cremation provided by Young’s Funeral Directors. Private services will be held at a later date.
