Janet Elizabeth Deffenbaugh

Born on July 3, 1944 in El Dorado, AR, she was the daughter of William Anderson McMahan and Willie Jean Goodwin McMahan. Janet was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and later in life joined Northwest Baptist Church. She was member of the Eastern Star, along with the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. Janet enjoyed painting, flower arranging and working word puzzles.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Richard Wayne Deffenbaugh.

Survivors are her sons, Dwayne ( Michelle) Deffenbaugh and Andy Deffenbaugh; a daughter, Michelle Fisher all of El Dorado; along with her grandchildren, Courtney Fisher, Destiny Fisher, Brittany Fisher, Jacob Deffenbaugh and Callie Blair.

A memorial service celebrating Janet’s life will be at 10 am, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Northwest Baptist Church with Rev. Sye Duke officiating. Cremation services were provided by Young’s Funeral Directors.
