
Born August 9, 1919, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, she was the daughter of Percy Gordon Sample and Jewel Manney Sample. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed her Garden Club and was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, Clifford Jackson, and grandson, Cole Main.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan Jackson Rader of Taos, New Mexico, and Julie Jackson Roper and her husband, Bobby of Shreveport, Louisiana; son, Jeffrey Richard Jackson of Castalion Springs, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Laura Rader Todd and her husband, Duwayne of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Tommy Rader of Phoenix, Arizona.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2011, at Young’s Chapel with Dr. Dan Loomis officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
