Jeanette Miller Herrington

Jeanette Miller Herrington, 87 of Booneville, AR, formerly of El Dorado passed away October 24, at Oak Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born December 25, 1924, to James William and Flora Bertha Page Miller in El Dorado.

She was a 1942 graduate of Fairview High School and a 1946 graduate of Henderson State Teacher’s College, member of the El Dorado Desk & Derrick Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Jeanette was retired from Murphy Oil, where she worked as an accounting clerk.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and husband, Charles J. Herrington.

Survivors include her two daughters, Suzanne Riddle and husband Hunter of Pensacola, FL, Jan Gates and husband Steve of Greenwood, AR; sister, Chris McCollum of Decatur, AR; and four grandchildren, Jared Gates and Emily Gates of Greenwood, AR and Derek Riddle and Lindsay Riddle of Pensacola, FL.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, October 29, at Young’s.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with the Reverend Pam Brule’ officiating.
