Jennifer "Jenny" Lee

Born October 25, 1974, she was the daughter of Raymond Michael "Mike" Phillips and Catherine Leola "Cat" Davis Phillips. Jenny was raised in the Baptist faith and carried those values of faith, love, and family throughout her life. She attended South Arkansas Community College and Bossier Parish Community College.

Jenny dedicated many years to serving the students, families, and staff of Norphlet Elementary School, first as a paraprofessional and later as the school secretary, where she became a familiar and caring presence to countless children and families before retiring.

More than anything, Jenny loved her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, whether it was gathering everyone together, riding around backroads or on the golf cart with her husband, Hoopy, spending time at the camp in Felsenthal, or simply enjoying the everyday moments that became beautiful memories. Of all the names she was called throughout her life, "Nonna" was the one she wore most proudly. Her three granddaughters were the light of her life, and there was nowhere she would rather be than with them.

Preceding her in death, along with her parents, was her beloved little sister, Cassie Jo Phillips.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of more than 30 years, John "Hoopy" Lee of Norphlet; her son, John Tyler Lee (Brooklyn) of Smackover; her daughter, Callie Ray (Dakota) of Norphlet; her precious granddaughters, Georgia Ray, Lillian Ray, and Elle Lee; and a special cousin who was more like a sister, Kristen Nolan (Michael) of Dallas, TX.

She is also survived by a host of extended family members, lifelong friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing and loving her.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Young's.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Young's Chapel with Michael Nolan officiating. Interment will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
