Jerri Sue Beene Beene Phelps

Born June 1, 1953 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Billy and Betty Jean Allen Beene. Jerri Sue was a co-founder of Americar Auto Sales and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Betty Jean Hall; and step-father, E. H. Hall.

Survivors include a son, Jacob Kane Phelps (Heather) of Magnolia; and a daughter, Melissa Lynn Meinert of Crossett; and her father, Billy Beene of El Dorado, AR. Also surviving are brothers, Tommy Beene of El Dorado and Allen Hall of Tuscaloosa, AL; and sisters, Mary Jane Ellis of Smackover, Billie Gail Ezell (Albert) and Tanya Groomes (Gabe) all of El Dorado. Surviving grandchildren are Christian Meinert, Chance Massey and Marina Meinert and great-grandchildren, Madelynn and Nolan Massey. Also surviving are special friends Danny Terry and Willie Paul Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Tommy Nash officiating. Interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gabriel Groomes, Albert Ezell, Mark Ables, John Beene, Michael Beene, Rudy Waller, Chris Bennett and Luis Morales.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Young’s.
