JoAnn Harpold Tighe

She was born September 6, 1929 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to Leland Harpold and Berniece Hobbs Harpold. JoAnn was self-employed as an Avon Representative and loved reading, puzzles, painting and sketching.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, James S. Tighe and her daughter, Jo Ellen Shipman.

Survivors include a brother, Roger Harpold and wife Pat of Tinley Park, Illinois; daughter Jan Hebert and husband Brian Hebert of El Dorado, AR; son James Tighe and wife Denise of Ashdown, AR; daughter, Jacki Tighe and husband Fred Spies of Fayetteville, AR; granddaughter, Megan Wilson and husband Tyler of Jonesboro, AR; grandson, David Tighe and wife Jade of El Dorado; granddaughter, Nina Tighe of El Dorado, AR; grandson, Jason Shipman and wife Janie of Junction City, AR; grandson, Cody Shipman of Columbus, Ohio; granddaughter, Emma Spies of Jackson, MS; granddaughter Julie Spies of Fayetteville, AR and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Shipman of El Dorado, AR, Kynslee Wilson of Jonesboro, AR, Lauren Shipman of Junction City, AR, Kelly Tighe and Collin Tighe both of El Dorado, AR.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Dan Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
