Born November 9, 1948 in El Dorado, AR he was the son of Alvin Carroll, Sr. and Eunice Mae Scott Langley. Mr. Langley had been a truck driver for Frank Thompson Trucking and of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death along with his parents, were sisters, Dorothy Darden and Marjorie Wilson along with brothers, A. C. "Red" Langley, Jr., Norman Langley and Cecil Langley.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Langley of Camden, a son, Joe M. Langley, Jr. (Melisa) of El Dorado and a daughter, Rhonda Crumley (Bryan) of Quitman, AR. Surviving grandchildren are; Morgan Hill (Tim) of Sherwood, AR, Will Crumley (Erica) of El Paso, TX, Hunter Crumley of Heber Springs, Katharine Langley, Heidi Langley and Clinton Langley all of El Dorado and great-grandchildren, Nora Hill, Samuel Crumley, Parker Crumley, Mason Crumley, Sophia Crumley and Arthur Mason.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Young's Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Young's Chapel with Rev. Timothy Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery on Lisbon Road under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
