He was my grandfather I never got to meet him in person but I talked to him a month before he died that was my first and last time talking to him and the one thing I can't forget he told me when we were on the phone was that he loved me.

Tony was my grandmothers postman.   He would always stop and rock a spell on the front porch.   She would have him a glass of sweet tea on hot days.   I’m sure the two of them are telling some stories now.   

So sorry to hear about Tony passing away. He was a friend. I will be praying for the family

Tony was our mail carrier at two different homes through the years.  We became friends, and after he retired I would run into him at Walmart and always get a hug, and chat.  Tony was a loving person, and loved animals.  He always gave our dogs a good pat on the head. I remember years ago he saw a kitten being abused by some boys.  He rescued the cat and adopted it . So very sorry for your loss. Have known Tony many years at school in Norphlet and reconnected when he was out Mothers Postman. Always had a kind word and would look out for Mom! Prayers for you all.

I knew Tony from high school but we probably got better acquainted in college; we had a class or two together and were on the same floor in the dorm. I sometimes hitched a ride home on weekends, too and he'd drop me off at my house. We'd tell jokes, talk about Razorback games, girls, cars, or whatever. I never heard any gossip or bad comments about anyone, just straight up good manners. At the time, those were just ordinary goings-on that I didn't give much thought to, but now I realize those are great memories. After that, I only saw him at reunions, so there's a lot I don't know. I'm grateful that he sought me out at the last reunion, though, and we had a good chance to reminisce and reconnect.

Tony and I were coworkers at the Post Office and I always enjoyed visiting with him in Wal Mart after we both retired. He was a good man.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Tony and I were friends and roommates our freshman year at SAU in Magnolia. We had great times and he will be greatly missed.

 Pop,Thank you for being a great mentor to my grandaugther.You were always there to take and pick her up from school untill she got those driving  license.There to help with homework ,make her peanut butter and jelly cracker for lunch and helping her become the wonderful person she is today.You will be solely  mised by her and all the other lives you touch. Heather and family, I always enjoyed my visits with Tony. We solved lots of issues!!!!  He loved his family. I will always remember him getting to school to pick his kiddos up an hour before school was out!!  Praying for you today and days ahead!🙏💖💙🙏

51 years I knew Tony. I remember when Jody brought him home to meet the family. He became my brother-in-law. He and Jody gave me a nephew Jeromy and a niece Heather.   He was family.  He will be missed. Heather and Jeromy just know he loved y’all so much. I am praying for all of you. Ethan and Eliah your Pop loved y’all more than you will ever know. Cherish the memories. To Tony's family.  I am so sorry for your loss of a good man.  I loved him.  He always worked with me in Vacation Bible School.  He would witness to those teenagers as they came across his path.  I know the Lord called him home.  I celebrate his life.  Wesley and Elena Nordmeyer.
