John Richard Williams

John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate of the Arkansas Law Enforcement Academy, and member of the Iron Temple Gym. John retired from the Union County Sherriff’s Office in 2010, and then he went to work for Securitas as Security manager at Chemtura.

John is survived by his three daughters; Kara Miller (Wesley), Courtney Moon (Luke), and Carmen Williams all of El Dorado. Also surviving him are his grandchildren Keziah Miller, Noah Miller, and Denver Moon. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Donnie Williams of El Dorado.

He is preceded by his parents, he and his wife Daphne left this world together on Friday.

Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday, May 9, 2016 at First Assembly of God in El Dorado.

Services will held Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at First Assembly with Tommy Nash officiating.

Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
