Johnny Fletcher, 65, passed away January 25, 2021, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born May 4, 1955 to John Porter Fletcher and Floy Ivey Fletcher in El Dorado, AR.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norphlet since 1966 and worked for Milam Construction for 29 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching dirt track racing, eating honey buns, and watching old westerns, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Eileen Harmon Fletcher; and his brother, Don Fletcher.
Survivors include his sons, Mikee Fletcher of Calion, Benee Fletcher of Norphlet, Rylee Fletcher of Norphlet; daughter, Kandee Blackledge (Chris) of Smackover; grandchildren, Ty Fletcher, Mily Blackledge, Aliyah Blackledge, Jeremiah Blackledge; sisters, Becky Barker (Maurice) of El Dorado, Ginger Faulkner of Norphlet, Sue Wilson (Bill) of El Dorado; and sister-in-law, Joyce Fletcher of Norphlet.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Norphlet, Arkansas with Rev. Doug Wills officiating. Visitation will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hollis Mullins, Ronnie Thomasson, Steve Moore, Allen Barker, Dean Barker, and Bill Wilson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Norphlet, 201 South Main, Norphlet, AR 71759.
In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), recommendations regarding public gatherings will be observed.
