Born April 4, 1984 in Pine Bluff, AR, he was the son of Dale and Teresa Eaton Sweeney (deceased). Josh was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his parents, Dale and Cherrie Sweeney, a sister, Amber Michelle Nelson (Arik), step-brothers, Nico Sandoval (Deanna) and Derrick Sandoval (Sydney) and their son, Saxxton Sandoval all of El Dorado.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young's. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Young's Chapel with Rev. Carly Davis and Rev. Myron Ford officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directions.
