She earned her Bachelors of Psychology degree and worked at General Dynamics as a quality control supervisor.
Preceding her in death are her parents; three children, Robert "Roho" Fowler, Anita Fowler, and Walter "Wildman" Fowler; and five siblings, Billy Jack Hyatt, Glenn Ray Hyatt, Michael "Mickie" Martin, Patsy Jackson, and Jimmy Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Dison; sons, John Lambert and Artie Jones (Stacy); daughter, Dawn Simmermacher all of Smackover; brother, Ricky Hyatt; and two sisters, Jo Ann Evans, and Sandra Scott.
