With her eyes always focused on the Kingdom of Heaven, Karen Elizabeth Miller, 62, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Karen was born August 30, 1957 to Dale Roland Robbins and Maudine Ripley Robbins in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Where do you begin to sum up a life full of love, service, and laughter? Karen devoted her entire life to her family, where she loved fiercely and unconditionally without judgement. She was a warrior for Christ’s Kingdom. She taught hundreds of children through her ministry that spanned over 30 years. She gave every ounce she was given to others, leaving nothing for herself. Easy to love, quick to laugh, and first to hug, Karen was the gold standard of how to love others with Christ’s love. She was His hands and feet every day of her life whether she was filing claims at SAMA or giving motherly advice at Hope Landing. Life was not always easy or kind, but Karen held tight to the promises of God and exuded those promises in her attitude and actions. She was the very best Wife, Momma, and Mimi! She will be remembered for loving with her whole heart. She only saw the good and the best in everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Linda Rogers.
Karen is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mike Miller of El Dorado. She is also survived by her daughter, Andrea Seemann (Randy) of Stephenville, TX and her son, John Miller of El Dorado. She leaves behind eight dearly beloved grandchildren: Gabe, Madison, Raelyn, Hunter, Autumn, Callie, Ella, and Logan, as well as her sisters Irma Sneed (Gary) of Hampton, AR and Dorothy Segraves of Casper, WY and with many nieces, nephews, friends, and second-family. She was loved!
In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings, there will not be a public visitation or services at this time. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Landing: 214 Hope Landing, El Dorado, AR 71730 or Be the Blessing: any First Financial Bank location.
