She was born September 29, 1921, in Clarks, Louisiana to Harry John Ware and Maud Zora Stough.
Katherine was a member of the Church of Christ on Hillsboro Street. She worked for Howard Brothers and Gibsons, in their Toy Department.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Harry L. Ware and Ralph J. Ware.
and her husband James Wilbur McKinney.
Survivors are her daughter, Kathy McKinney of El Dorado.
Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday April 1, 2012 at Young’s.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday April 2, 2012 at Young’s Chapel with John Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery under the direction of young’s Funeral Directors.
