Kerrell Ramsey

Sonny was a veteran of the United States Army, worked as a constable in Junction City, AR, and considered April 1st, as National Sonny Ramsey Day in Junction City.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and wife, Lucille Lemke Ramsey.

He is survived by his daughter, Kerrien Ramsey Williams (Shane); three grandchildren, Chelsea Melvin (Austin), Hannah Williams, Shana Williams; long-time loving companion, Betty Thurlkill; sister, Dorothy Fredrick and family; two brothers, Glenn Ramsey, Donald Ramsey and their families; and he leaves behind many loving and loyal friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Young’s.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, at Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors and with Rev. Randy Fredrick officiating.
