Mrs. Bird was a homemaker and for many years had been a caregiver for shut-ins.
Preceding her in death were her husband Walter Gary Bird, a son, Michael Shane Bailey and a daughter, Sherry L. Bailey, her brothers, Floyd Lee Haynes and George A Haynes along with sisters, Mary Cross, Edna Jane Dearing and Vera Haynes.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Haynes (Kevin) of El Dorado, a sister, Nancy Haymon of Louann. Surviving grandchildren are Brianna Hall (Russell), Zachary Haynes, and Amber Lasiter (Keith). She is also survived by step-children, Michael Bird (Gina) and Michelle Henry (Jeremy) along with great-nieces, Starr McElveen (Christian) and Sky Faust and a nephew, Nick Faust.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Young's Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery with Gail Haynes officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
