Born October 21, 1932 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Otis and Irene Andress Ruple. Mrs. Beebe was a 1950 graduate of El Dorado High School and attended Southeastern University in Hammond, LA. Mrs. Beebe was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church, teaching the Bible Fellowship for 10 years and serving as Area Advisor for 5 years and was also the church organist and pianist for many years. She served on the Board of Trustees of South Arkansas Community College being appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee.
Martha will be remembered for her watercolor paintings and her devotion to her family.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, a son John S. Beebe III, a daughter Crisanna Jackson, a grandson John S. Beebe IV, her husband of 63 years John S. "Johnny" Beebe Jr., a sister, Carol Baker and a brother, Charles Ruple.
Survivors are daughters Connie (Danny) Gryder of El Dorado and Lucy (Morris) Lawson of Farmington, AR. Along with grandchildren Keely Cook, Kip Amedee, Cassie Jackson, Keb (Jennilee) Brasher, Bendy (Drew) Glover, Ashley (Ritchie) Solomon, Evan (Tera) Lawson, Chris Faries, Branson Lawson and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the church.
