

She was born June 15, 1936 in Willmington, North Carolina to Edward Dunlap Redfern and Mary Francis Carrier Redfern. Martha attended Duke University and before retiring worked as a real estate agent for Century 21. She was a member of Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Billy Eugene Gentry; a brother, Jack Redfern; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Maynor and a granddaughter, Christy Maynor Key.
Survivors include her daughter Kimberly Taylor (Richard) of El Dorado; two step daughters, Tamie Black of Minden and Suzonne Waller (Randy) of Magnolia; sister-in-law, Nancy Redfern Corbin (Danville); grandchildren, Trey O’Shea, Ty Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Sierra Beets, Katie Bostick, Brandon Black & Trevor Black; great grandchildren, Ashley Hutto, Landon Key, Devin Key, Kaityln Key, Taylor Key, Clayton Key, Tanner Bostick, Spencer Bostick, Makayla Beets & JT Beets and great- great grandchildren, Greyson Hicks & Aria Taylor.
