Mary Frizzell Matney, 90, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017. Born on October 14, 1926 in Tyler, Texas. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many people and devoted her life to serving others.
Preceding her in death were her parents and late husband, Brooks Matney. Survivors include her son Jimmy Matney of San Antonio, TX, and daughter Suzanne Harris of El Dorado, AR; five grandchildren, Marla Matney Havel, Brooke Pilgrim and husband, Mike, Holly Price and husband, Chris, Anndi Cranford and husband, Dave, Michael Harris; six great grandchildren Matthew, Ella, Emily, Addison, Madelyn, and Ryan.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas.
