Matthew Reaves

He was born November 22, 1981 in Little Rock, AR to Michael Reaves and Kathy McKinnon Reaves. Matthew worked for BenchMark Industries and attended College Avenue Church of Christ and was also a member of the Pleasant Grove Nursing Home singers. Matthew loved music, movies, conversation, and his family. He never met a person who was not “his friend.”

Preceding him in death are his father; paternal grandparents, Marvin & Betty Reaves.

Survivors include his mother, Kathy McKinnon Reaves of Parkers Chapel, AR; a brother Chris Reaves of Parkers Chapel, maternal grandparents, Morris & Mary McKinnon of Parkers Chapel; aunts & uncles, Rhonda & Tracy Swilley of Parkers Chapel, Steve & Regina McKinnon of Farmerville, LA, Randall & Cathy McKinnon of Silvertooth, CO, Robert & Angela Reaves of Joplin, MO and numerous cousins and other close family.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at College Avenue Church of Christ with Kent Jobe officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
