He was born September 8, 1929 to John Clifford Risinger and Mattie Belle Anglin Risinger. Max was owner and operator of Risinger Spur for 48 years and was a member of East Faulkner Church of Christ. He was an Air Force Veteran of WWII and was stationed in Germany.
Preceding him in death are his parents; a daughter, Gwen Henry; a son, Tommy Risinger; two brothers, Eugene Risinger and Gerald Risinger and a son-in-law, William Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Risinger of El Dorado; two sons, Butch Risinger(Ann) of El Dorado & Johnny Risinger of El Dorado; a daughter, Dineen Allen of Little Rock; a sister, Helen Wilson(Woody) of Junction City, AR; grandchildren, Jacki(Doug), Drenda, Stacey(Jay), Jana(Lee), Kim, (Kyle), Terri(Aaron), Sheri(Albert), Garrett, Brennan, John David & Tanner and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 in Young’s Chapel with Tommy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery on Junction City Hwy. under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
