

Maycel Hendricks Orr, 89, was born on October 23, 1927, in Tubal Township, Union County, Arkansas, to John Perry Hendricks and Lydia Hicks Hendricks and passed away peacefully at the John R. Williamson Hospice House, El Dorado, Arkansas, March 25, 2017.
Maycel was retired from ATT Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a founding member of Trinity Baptist Church and a current member Cross Life Church. She was a loving wife and homemaker.
Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband of 69 years James M. Orr, brothers, Rev. Arthur Hendricks, Joseph D. Hendricks, Wayne Hendricks, along with sisters, Mamie Moss, Floy Eads, Letha Orr and Dorothy Williams.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Orr, (Patricia), Don Orr, (Renee) all of El Dorado, daughters, Sue Rainwater (Paul) of Crossett and Nancy Glenn (Mark) of Bossier City, LA. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Zena Mae Pesnell of El Dorado, and Sue Orr of Memphis,TN, along with grandchildren: Haley Chapman of Georgetown, TX, Matthew Orr (Jennifer) of Tatum, TX, Molly Crosby (Paul) of Gainesville, FL, Emily Smith, (Brian) of Denver, CO, Luke Rainwater (Noelle) of Dallas, TX, Jason Rainwater, (Kristi) of Little Rock, Allison Townley (Chad) of Keller TX, Adam Jones of Conway, AR. Nolan Glenn (Hannah) of Austin, TX, Kyle Orr (Casey) of El Dorado, Drew Orr (Tabitha) of El Dorado, and Kelly Hightower (Will) of Conway, AR. There are also 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Young’s Chapel, Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
