He was born February 24, 1943 in Tahoka, Texas to the late Ottis and Doe DeVault. He was a manager for Systems Contracting Corporation and a member of Hopewell Deer Club. Mike was also a member of Cross Life church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James DeVault.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Carol; 2 sons, Mike (Lori) DeVault and their two sons, Jake and Josh of Wylie, Texas and Mark DeVault and his son, Tanner (Kayla).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Young's Chapel with Pastor Chester Pasmore and Brother Mark Day officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
