Michael "Joey" Joe Moore

Michael Joe “Joey” Moore, 36, of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at his home.

He was born July 30, 1975 in El Dorado to Gary Lynn Moore and Shirley Henley. Joey worked as an equipment operator at Clean Harbors. He loved to hunt and fish with his children.

Preceding him in death are his grandfathers, James Porter Moore and Archie Henley, Jr.

Survivors include; his father Gary Moore (Carolyn) of El Dorado; his mother Shirley Scarbrough of El Dorado; his wife Katrina Brown Moore; two daughters, Kaylee & Michaela Moore; one son, Hayden Moore all of El Dorado; four sisters, Melissa Ponder (Sam) of Smackover, Julie Scarbrough & Janet Scarbrough both of Mesquite, TX and Christie Palmer (Rob) of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Phillip Moore of El Dorado; grandmothers, Syble Moore of El Dorado & Christine Eiland (Cecil) of Dodge City, LA; a special dad, Jerry Scarbrough (Jo Ellen) of Garland, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Young’s Chapel with Pastor Truett West and Pastor Al Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family c/o Young’s Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
