

Nancy was born to Prentis and Pauline Pepper on July 7, 1940, in Columbia County, Arkansas, attending Junction City Schools before marrying her high school sweetheart Wayne Hall in 1958. The newly married couple lived in California, where Nancy worked as a legal assistant and Wayne served in the U.S. Navy. They returned home to Union County, Arkansas, in 1961, where they raised their three children. Nancy served as a Bible Study Fellowship Leader, as well as church organist / pianist, Team Kids volunteer, and The Joy Sunday School Class Teacher at Mt. Union Baptist Church for many years.
Today her family is comforted knowing that Nana is singing before her King.
Preceding her in death is her father, Prentis Pepper.
Survivors include her mother, Pauline Williams Pepper of El Dorado, AR; her husband of 58 years, Wayne Hall of El Dorado, AR; one daughter, Helen Brantley (Fred) of Texarkana, TX; two sons, Michael Hall (Tina) of Little Rock, AR and David Hall (Laura) of Ruston, LA; one sister, Carol McDonald of El Dorado, AR; two brothers Tony Pepper (JoAnn) of West Fork, AR and Bruce Pepper (Vicki) of El Dorado, AR; eight grandchildren, Caleb Brantley (Laurel) of Tucson, AZ; Jacob Brantley of Tyler, TX; Benson Hall of New Orleans, LA; Lewis Hall (Tessa) of Fayetteville, AR; Luke Hall of Fayetteville, AR; Anna Hall of Ruston, LA; Sarah Hall of Ruston, LA; and Hannah Brantley of Fayetteville, AR.
Visitation will be held 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, at Mt. Union Baptist Church located at 653 Mt. Union Road, El Dorado, AR. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Union Baptist Church with her first cousin, Rev. Tom Williams, officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Nancy’s eight grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to The Joy Sunday School Class Fund at Mt. Union Baptist Church.
