Nancy Turner

Nancy Clark Turner, 80 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. She was born December 7, 1933, to Carey Eugene Clark and Mary Alice Braswell Clark-Matthews in El Dorado, AR.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Pi Beta Phi at the University of Arkansas, and a past member of the DAR.

Preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, Dr. Carey E. Clark, Jr. of El Dorado, Judge James Earl Clark of Shreveport, LA.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene Campbell Turner of Texarkana, AR, Todd Clark Turner of El Dorado; two grandsons, Eugene Campbell Turner, IV and Edwin Carson Turner both of Sheridan, AR; one great granddaughter, Lily Grace Turner; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Clark of El Dorado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Young’s.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Father Charles Chapman officiating.
