Narice Elizabeth Jackson

She was a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church in Smackover, a loving mother and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Merce Jackson, and son Britt Jackson. Also preceding her are brothers Jethro, Woodrow, and Leonard Scott and sisters Marie Stephens, Emma Gathright and Ruby Scott.

She is survived by daughters Janet Doss (Glen) and Sharon Owens (Stan) of Three Creeks, AR. Also surviving her are granddaughter Jana Warren (Dwayne) of El Dorado, AR., grandsons Eric Doss of El Dorado, Adam Owens of Washington DC, and Scott Owens of League City, TX; along with great-grandsons Ethan and Britton Warren of El Dorado, AR.

Services will be today, Sunday, December 21, 2014, at First Assembly of God in Smackover at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mark Stratton officiating. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle, and El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.

Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 to 3:00 pm today prior to the service.
