Nina Dawn Welch Green

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She knew the value of family, and how to be a true friend. She will always be remembered for her abounding energy, her kindness, and her feisty nature. She will truly be missed by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Eugene Welch; grandfather, Jack Matthews; great grandparents, Holland and Mittie Raynes; step-grandparents, Tory and Birdie Hughes, and grandfather, Quitin Dyess.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Green; daughters, Laiken Miller and Kaylee Wooten of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Brayden, Bentley, Chloe; two step-grandchildren, Ashytenne and Christian; niece, Crystal Squyres; mother, Patsy Hughes; step-father, Allan Hughes; of Chester; three sisters, Tina Gage of Camden, Deena Matthews of North Carolina, and Cheryl Hughes of Chidester; brother, Holland Welch of Calion; grandmother, Patty Ford of El Dorado; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. May 8, 2015, at Young’s Chapel under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
