She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert “Jack” Carver and Carmeta Carver, as well as her brothers, Joe Hanson and Edwin Carver.
Patricia was raised in Texas but spent the majority of her adult life on her cherished farm in Louann, Arkansas—a place that truly reflected her spirit. She found joy in tending to the bounty of her land, and she was most at home in the kitchen, cooking or canning the fruits of her labor. Patricia had a genuine heart for service and was known as a natural caregiver, offering comfort, guidance, and love to anyone who crossed her path. To the many children welcomed into her home, she was a nurturing and steady mother figure.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Terry Jackson of Louann, AR; her children, Teralea Shairrick and husband Conley of Smackover, AR; Valerie Sistrunk and husband Daniel of Spartanburg, SC; and Misti Bounds and husband Ricky of Camden, AR. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jalyn Bounds, Harrison Bounds, Jesse Womack, Marley Shairrick & fiancé Handley Chandler, Abby Bounds, Acie Sistrunk, Laney Bounds, Jackson Sistrunk, and Will Shairrick; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Patricia’s legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
