Pearl Garner, 96, of El Dorado passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Born October 31, 1925 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Roy, Sr. and Opal Collins Lillie. Mrs. Garner was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was known as "Granny" by all her family, loved to cook and had many friends. Preceding her in death along with her parents, were her husband, Bob Garner, a son, Bob Garner, Jr. and grandson, Lance Dixon along with sisters, Onna Hooper and Kay Feaster. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carol "Lynn" Garner Dixon of Ruston, LA and grandchildren; Sara Garner Cook (Gabriel) of Smackover, Bob Garner (Christina) of Friendswood, TX, Kassie Aborn (Jason) of El Dorado, Matt Dixon (Lauren) of Ruston and Drew Dixon of Hot Springs along with great-grandchildren, Tucker, Joy, Rhys, Mercy, Gabriel, Gideon, Bella, Ali, Avery, Gunnar, Dylan, and Maddie. Also surviving are two brothers, Roy Lillie, Jr of Littleton, Co and Johnny Lillie (Jan) of Paris, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Hooper and Rev. Terry Upchurch officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
