

Phillip F. Kalcich, 77 of El Dorado, passed away, Friday, April 21, 2017, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. He was born April 9, 1940, to Frank and Mary Kovach Kalcich in Spadra, AR.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Phillip worked for TOSCO as an electrical engineer, and he was a veteran of the United States Army.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, John Kalcich; and sister, Johanna Simpson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kalcich; son, Mark Bates (Debra); daughter, Michelle Temple (Dale) all of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Grayson and Jacob Temple, Caden Bates, Corinne and Peyton Cagle; three sisters, Frances Hales of Rogers, AR, Mary Kalcich of Tulsa, OK, Mildred Hall of California; brother, Frank Kalcich of Sperry, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Young’s Funeral Directors, with a Rosary service beginning at 6:30 until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Edward D’Almeida officiating assisted by Rev. David Stipp-Bethune. Burial with military honors will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
